It was an oddly chilly morning for Arizona in October, we were up at an hour that no one should be awake for and there was no sight of the sun making its debut anytime soon. But it would all be worth it, because we were about to photograph a sunrise Vintage Airplane Engagement session. Kristin and Michael arrived at Classic Air Aviation, ready and willing. Cold as heck, but ready and willing. What more could we ask for?! (I take that back. I’d ask for some hot chocolate and a blanket or something.) And instead of ending the shoot with that gorgeous soft light that we crave at every single session, we began with it. And everything that followed it made my little photographer heart flutter with excitement.

Kristin and Michael are, hands down, the most adorable pair when they are together. It didn’t take much for them to fall right into each pose, snuggled closely together. I’m going to assume it was mainly for warmth, but nevertheless it was genuine, right? Their laughter was continuous, contagious and heart warming throughout the entire shoot, making any cues look effortless to master. Such a pleasure to photograph their love and to show you what it looked like through my lens.

Cheers to the kind of love that can make any bystander swoon.
