It was the perfect day for a Forest Highlands Flagstaff wedding. A cloudless Fall sky, rolling green hills, and a forest bursting with Autumn’s brilliance. It’s not every day that Doug and I get to come back to the city where we met, and enjoy this perfect time of year. The air was cool and crisp, the leaves were the perfect shade of golden yellow and there was a comfortable calmness to the day. Maybe because Steven was getting married in a place that was so familiar or maybe it was because Leeah’s vision of her wedding day was coming together better than expected. Whatever it was, it was perfect.

The day was filled with laughter, sharing stories of childhood memories, Leeah dancing while wearing an inflatable dinosaur head, one of her best friends singing karaoke and a bobble-head cake topper. Needless to say, this wedding exemplified Leeah and Steven perfectly. As wedding photographers, it’s weddings like these that make us love our job. Every couple and every wedding is unique. We never know exactly how it is going to turn out but that’s what’s most exciting. We get to capture a wedding day that is truly one of a kind. So here’s to the golf cart cruisin’, jurassic dancing, bobble-head cake topper kind of couple! Cheers Leeah and Steven on a wedding day you will never forget!
