Michael & Dena are some pretty important people in our lives and they are far from newbies in front of my camera. I’ve done several fun shoots with these lovely faces including an impromptu wildflower field session, engagement pictures, save the dates, and these styled images of them in the vintage get-up belonging to Dena’s grandparents. She knew pictures of her and her husband with these items would make a great Christmas gift for her Grandma and Grandpa, so we set out to the local cotton fields to snap some vintage shots of their attire. One secret of mine (that’s not so much of a secret) is that I’m currently having a love affair with shooting in cotton fields. (See Brooke’s Hometown Session here for more!) There’s something timeless and gorgeous about the beauty of pictures in these fields. Maybe it has to do with the late afternoon light that feeds them before the sun sets. I really couldn’t tell you. But all I know is these pictures are some of my current favorites! Thank you Dena and Michael for letting me capture these!
