It was a cloudy morning, a soft glow seeping through the curtains of the windowsill in a room full of excitement and ambient laughter. Alyx sat perched on a chair with a view outside, while Brittany dusted her cheekbones with a color only fit for a blushing bride. She was in the company of her most cherished people. Her bridesmaids bustling about sharing hair tools and mirrors, sipping their mimosas. That morning held a sense of bliss to it with just a subtle hint of anxious excitement that only seemed to build as the day flew by. And on that long-awaited day, Alyx’s smile was never fading. It was her wedding day after all…

In a room dark with cabin light and walls lined with busts of beasts and the kinds of things you could only find on rustic cabin walls, Denton prepared to see his bride. It was evident the thoughts that consumed his mind while donning his dress shirt. He was ready to see Alyx dressed in white, walking towards him and their new future… Their new adventure together as husband and wife.

One by one and piece by piece, this dream of theirs was coming to life. Each flower petal and seat that filled the ceremony, giving life to what Alyx and Denton had imagined all this time for their Farm at Dover Milwaukee wedding day. The never ending buzz from their friends and family painted the day in a perfect hue of delight. Each of them waited patiently for them to finally become one, the way they were always meant to be, and held their breath when they turned to see Denton gasp at the sight of his Bride.

Tears of joy were exchanged as well as rings and vows that they sealed with a kiss, signifying a bond that will last forever. A moment they’ll never forget, a moment they’ll tell to their children, a moment that became a legacy. Their legacy.
