This little girl right here is a wondrous and spunky three year old. She also happens to be family. My Godmother’s daughter, so technically my God-sister to be exact. Lily and her mother live in Germany and come home to visit every year around her birthday and I am so honored to be able to photograph her as she grows into the most beautiful girl, inside and out. (You’ll also see Mr. Bear make an appearance in every session) After photographing her First Birthday she seemed a little weary of the camera that seemed to be making strange noises in front of her. By her Second Birthday, she started to get the hang of things and thoroughly enjoyed pressing the shutter button herself. This time around… Lily knew what to do. She’d strike a pose without instruction and grin her fabulous toothy smile at her silly mother standing behind me. I love the nature of toddlers at this age. You can clearly see Lily’s curiosity as we ventured through the Westin grounds, stopping to smell the flowers or listen intently to the bagpiper playing on the green. And I probably don’t have to point it out to you, but can we please mention her hair? She had so many people awe-ing at her curly locks.
Hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I loved taking them.
