Maybe it was the timeless, centuries-old architecture that rose above us. The flower shops on every corner, or the warming aroma that emanated from each pâtisserie we passed on the streets. Perhaps it was the french cuisine, the quaint cafés or the substantial amount of baked goods we consumed on a daily basis that did it. We can’t quite put our finger on it but what ever it was that got us hooked on Paris, it really reeled us in by the heart.

Visions of a Vintage Inspired Paris Photoshoot

I knew from the very first stages of planning our European adventure that we would hire a professional photographer. And for a while we were considering Florence as our city of choice, since Italy was the final destination of our trip. Why not seal it with a shoot? But even as I was searching for Florence photographers, visions of a vintage inspired paris photoshoot kept dancing in my head. A flowy, black and white polka dot dress, and a dapper, waistcoat-donned husband beside me. For real, that was my vision. If I’m being honest though, we weren’t expecting to love Paris as much as we did. So to decide on Paris for our photoshoot was a little unexpected, but Doug and I are so overjoyed that we did.

Enter Tim Moore… an amazing Paris Photographer that captured our marriage, the magic that is Paris, and (unknowingly) my vision, so perfectly. We loved every part of this experience so much. Our very own vintage inspired Paris photoshoot, feeling the magic of Paris with every turn and being able to feel that again every day on the walls of our home.

But just like every one of our couples at the beginning of their session, we started to feel the nerves. We were so grateful for Tim to guide us and refresh our perspective for this other side of our job.
