They’re the kind of couple that everyone cheers on. The kind of love that everyone looks to and says “where can I get that”. The kind of relationship that makes each day together somewhat better than the last. So to say that their Durango, Colorado winter wedding, that just so happened to fall on New Years Eve, was the biggest party of the year(and dare I say new year) probably shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Friends and family from all over, including Doug and I, traveled to Colorado for Brian and Emily‘s snowy nuptials. The buzz and energy from everyone awaiting the moment they finally (finally!) became husband and wife, a title each destined to have, was incredible to feel and witness.
And that moment did not disappoint. Because even with the cozy fire pit, aspens, pines and the towering snowcapped mountains surrounding them at the most important moment in their lives, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Including ours.
But as soon as the tears were dried, and congratulations were exchanged from everyones lips… the party began. And the best part is, for Mr. & Mrs. Terpay, it will never really end.
Brian & Emily,
We owe you many thanks. For one, the fact that Doug and I are even together is because of you, and we will always be forever grateful. And two, for having us be the ones you trusted with your memories on your wedding day. We love you guys and can’t wait to catch up again soon!
